ESOLVE passes ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 follow-up audit
The company maintains its environmental and occupational health and safety management systems and sets as its next objective to advance in the adaptation to the new ISO 14001:2026.
ESOLVE has successfully passed the follow-up audit of its management systems in accordance with ISO 14001, environmental management, and ISO 45001, occupational health and safety.
For ESOLVE, these audits have a value that goes beyond compliance with the requirements established by the standards. Follow-up audits are as important as renewal audits because they allow you to periodically check that the management systems are still in place, are applied on a day-to-day basis and maintain a process of continuous improvement.
Rigour is not only demonstrated when a renewal audit arrives. It is demonstrated by maintaining the same criteria of demand every day.
Rigor is also demonstrated between audits
A certified management system should not only work when an audit is approaching. Follow-up audits allow you to assess that the procedures, controls and objectives defined continue to be integrated into the organization’s regular activity.
For ESOLVE, this monitoring is especially important because technical rigour and continuous improvement are part of our way of working.
ISO 14001 provides a framework for managing an organization’s environmental aspects and impacts and continuously improving its environmental performance. ISO 45001 establishes a system for managing risks related to occupational health and safety.
At ESOLVE we understand both dimensions as part of the same commitment: to work responsibly with the environment and with people.
Environment and safety: two pillars of the same way of working
Our activity is oriented towards the decontamination of soil and water and the management of water resources, with projects that require technical knowledge, fieldwork and actions in industrial environments.
For this reason, environmental commitment cannot be limited to the solutions we develop for our customers. It must also be present in our own activity.
In the same way, protecting and recovering the environment implies taking care of the people who participate in each project and ensuring that they can carry out their work in safe conditions.
This approach is aligned with ESOLVE’s Corporate Responsibility policy, updated this year to reinforce our commitment to sustainability, safety and continuous improvement.
The ISO 45001 certification, which ESOLVE obtained in 2025, was a further step in this integration between safety, sustainability and technical rigour. Find out how we approach safety and sustainability in our activity.
ESOLVE moves towards ISO 14001:2026
Environmental management continues to evolve. In April 2026, the new edition of ISO 14001:2026 was published, updating the international framework for environmental management systems and reinforcing the focus towards clearer and more measurable environmental performance.
In view of this update, ESOLVE has set itself the next objective of making progress over the next year in adapting its management system to the new requirements of ISO 14001:2026.
We understand this transition not only as an obligation to adapt to a new version of the standard, but as an opportunity to review our processes, identify new opportunities for improvement and continue to integrate environmental management into our activity.
Because for us, maintaining an environmental management system is not just about having a certification. It is about reviewing how we do things and continuously asking ourselves how we can do them better.
A commitment that starts within
At ESOLVE we believe that regenerating polluted environments and looking after tomorrow requires acting responsibly in all phases of our activity.
Science brings knowledge. Innovation allows us to find new answers. And sustainability reminds us that every decision has an impact on the environment and on people.
Passing a follow-up audit is, therefore, good news and recognition of the work done, but also an opportunity to continue improving.
Because if our goal is to regenerate polluted environments, the commitment to the environment, safety and rigor has to start with ourselves.
